19/06/2007 - Environ 1 minute de lecture Geek pr0n I can’t resist sharing a few pictures of my lab at work: Total: 100 nodes…
Now, all that’s missing is a video clip of the SCI lightshow. ;-)
Whoaw!
original, la façon de disposer les baies au sol …. en éventail :-))
@Pierre: Yeah, with a complete howto about how the lights must blink for the stuff to work… It’ll wait until I’m forced to rewire the SCI network :)
@Fabien: ça laisse plus de place pour travailler derrière et déracker…
Wow, the feeling with the roof lights off and all the blinking leds must be like being in HAL’s brain :-)
Can I get one of those in a laptop or desktop…just kidding..Where do you work……very cool..I know you cant tell
You can put the hostname for each node on the LCD and not use sticky lables.
# omconfig chassis frontpanel lcdindex=1 config=custom text=$(hostname | cut -f1 -d.)
Thanks for the tip ! I didn’t use that because most of our nodes have no LCD. So I got the habit of printing sticky labels :)
It also allows using the LCD for status codes or errors.
